When you send an enquiry we receive what you type into the form: your name, email address, company, the service you select and your message. With it we record technical details of the submission, such as your browser user agent, the country your connection comes from and a one-way hash of your IP address, which we use to keep the form free of spam and abuse.

If you do not use the form, we collect nothing about you beyond the ordinary technical logs kept by our hosting provider.

We use your details to reply to you, to discuss and carry out any work that follows, to keep records of our business correspondence, and to protect the website from abuse.

We rely on our legitimate interests to do this: you contacted us and expect a reply, and we need to run and protect our business. We do not use your details for advertising, and we do not make automated decisions about you.

We store enquiries and related correspondence in the systems we use to run the business, including our hosting, database, email and backup providers. These providers may process data in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, the United States or elsewhere. Where data leaves the United Kingdom, it is protected by the safeguards those providers offer for international transfers.

We keep your details for as long as we consider them useful for our business relationship and our records, and for as long as the law requires. We do not commit to deleting them after a fixed period.

We never sell, rent or trade your details, and we do not share them with anyone for their own purposes.

The only others who handle them are the service providers who run our website, database and email on our behalf, and anyone we are legally required to disclose them to, such as a court or regulator.

This site sets one cookie, named theme, which remembers whether you chose the light or dark colour scheme. It is strictly necessary for a feature you asked for, so there is no consent banner. There are no analytics, advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission comes from a real browser. To do that, Cloudflare receives your IP address and browser details and processes them on our behalf.

Data protection law gives you rights over your personal data, including to ask for a copy, to ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and to object to how we use it. These rights are not absolute: we may keep and continue to use data where we have a legitimate reason to, for example to keep business records or to establish or defend legal claims, and we will tell you if that applies.
